Sunday Mornings

It's 2020 at Summerland Presbyterian Church!  And Sunday's are a time when our community gathers for fellowship, to worship and hear God's Word.

Our worship service includes a blend of the old familiar hymns and today's praise songs (presented by our talented musicians) along with a time of teaching--inspiring, contemporary Bible-based messages from our pastoral staff, including that smiling, benign, grandfatherly face above, Bart Tarman.

No need to worry about not knowing anyone or being concerned that you're the "stranger in the midst". Our greeters will welcome you with a smile, help you get where you need to go and answer any questions.  You can sit in our intimate 110-year-old sanctuary with gorgeous stained glass windows or in Vos Hall, just a few steps away, where you can watch the service on our big screen TV (and be closer to the coffee and other goodies).  And be sure to stay for our fellowship hour following the service as we serve a down home "comfort meal" in Vos Hall. It'll give us the chance to get to know you better.

Perhaps you're seeking a new church home, or you've drifted away from church over the years and are feeling God's tug on your arm to come on back.  We welcome everyone of all faiths and backgrounds, including families with children.

So come on by and check us out on any Sunday morning at 10:30am.  We're at 2400 Lillie Avenue in beautiful Summerland, CA.  (If you've driven by on the 101, we're the white church with the steeple you can see from the freeway).

There's a good reason our motto is "Love Spoken Here".  See you soon!
